過去式與現在完成時互相轉化

I got my last gel nails ten years ago.
I haven’t gotten any gel nails since ten years ago.
I haven’t gotten any gel nails since.
I haven’t gotten any gel nails since I got them ten years ago.
I haven’t gotten any gel nails since 2010.
I haven’t gotten any gel nails for ten years.

現在完成時經常與since和for搭配。

since不能與ago搭配。要尊重字典，since有四種義項：

1. adv: I haven’t gotten any gel nails since. 那時候起我就沒做過指甲了。（從語境判斷具體是哪時候）
2. conj: I haven’t gotten any gel nails since I got them ten years ago.
3. prep: I haven’t gotten any gel nails since 2010.

綜合用法（現在完成進行時、簡單過去時、過去完成時）

I have been shocked since you said in the morning that you did your last gel nails ten years ago.
I have been shocked since you said you hadn’t gotten any gel nails for ten years.
