为什么我不用笔记软件

2010年左右，我开始使用Evernote。那时候，我用它来记密码、软件注册码，还有一些杂项条目。接着，我渐渐用Evernote“收集”写得好的文章等。如今，我好久好久才会去登录一下Evernote，查看一些以前的东西。为什么我不再用笔记软件了呢？因为没什么东西需要记了。

不上课记笔记

有人需要上课记笔记。^[1]对于发ppt的老师，我把ppt打印出来，在ppt上记东西，一般不会很多。我选课不太选写板书的老师，万一不慎选到了，就用纸笔记。

不记密码

从前我用Evernote记密码，但后来Chrome浏览器有了记住密码功能，我就用Chrome的密码功能了。读者也可以用1password之类的密码管理软件。

不记待办事项

我不用笔记软件记代办事项。我在Gmail、Google日历记个人事务，比如定期洗被子；Gmail里的每封邮件都是一个todo item，完成后存档。我也偶尔用草稿记一些小事。对于公司的待办事项，我用公司邮件作为Todo list。

我是程序员，如果我的代码项目有待办事项，我会用GitHub上的Issues。我本来就用Git管理代码。

不记知识

我总是使用Google搜索想要的知识，大多数可以找到，所以我不需要把别人的文章收集到笔记软件里。

如果网站教程有错误，我需要修正一两句，如果那个教程是GitHub上托管的，我会提出pull request。

如果有些知识别人的文章有提到，但需要整合，别忘了维基百科。我会把这些内容整合在维基百科。你说维基百科不能随便随心所欲地改？建议你再仔细学习一下维基百科！Obsidian为其用内部链接管理笔记的方式自豪，但这不就是维基百科的方式吗？

Despite treasure of knowledge that I recommended my friends to read and contribute, Wikipedia now demands high-quality articles from the onset, alienating new contributors. The free encyclopedia that anyone can edit is no longer in the mindset that an article is created by someone and improved it by crowdsource. Now, a single user is asked to create a “Did you know” article in the standards of the past. If a user is not paid to give a birth to the article, the requirement bar will make users bail out. Chinese Wikipedia nevertheless is less susceptible to this because its articles are far less than English Wikipedia.

StackOverflow is another resource which I start to abandon, because it is more and more unfriendly to greenhorn questions. If you are learning a programming language, 80% of your questions asked there will be closed or down voted because from the viewpoints of experts there, the question is simply bullshit. By the way, you can’t ask “Opinion-based” or “best practice” questions on any StackExchange site. I now tend to use reddit.com/r/learnprogramming. Coderanch may be promising too.

网友飞龙说工作时需要记和找客户资料，那显然是公司的问题——公司没有一个internal knowledge base供员工记录那些东西。员工用自己的办法记录敏感资料容易造成数据泄露。

最后，确实有些知识Google搜不到、没整合，网站教程有错误但我不能改，也不适合维基百科，我还有本博客网站！这里是真的随便写了。

不记文件

有些文件需要标签和备注。比如论文，可能需要加已读未读标签，有些还需要加心得体会。这时候我会用Directory Opus的备注、标记功能，勉强够用。
